Ένα ταξίδι στο Βιετνάμ χρειάζεται καλή
οργάνωση από πριν για να μπορέσεις να δεις και να δοκιμάσεις όλα όσα έχεις
σκεφτεί και κανονίσει. Γι’ αυτό και εμείς σου λύνουμε τα χέρια με μία
δοκιμασμένη λίστα από μέρη για διαμονή, φαγητό, καφέ και τσάι. Όσα ψάξαμε πριν
το ταξίδι, όσα ανακαλύψαμε μόνοι μας κατά τη διάρκεια του αλλά και όσα μας
πρότειναν οι ντόπιοι, παίρνουν όλα άριστα. Σου τα παραθέτουμε απλόχερα, ώστε να
γλιτώσεις χρόνο αλλά και να απολαύσεις το ταξίδι σου.

Για τη διαμονή μας επιλέξαμε τόσο
ξενοδοχεία όσο και homestays, τα
οποία είναι πολύ διαδεδομένα στο Βιετνάμ. Τα homestays είναι ιδιοκτησίες
ντόπιων, στα οποία μένουν και οι ίδιοι μέσα. Τα περισσότερα διαθέτουν ξεχωριστά
δωμάτια με ιδιωτικό μπάνιο το καθένα –υπάρχουν και κάποια με κοινόχρηστο
μπάνιο- , όπου μπορούν να μείνουν τουρίστες μισθώνοντας τα. Είναι πολύ ασφαλή,
καθαρά και οικονομικά, κάτι πολύ χρήσιμο όταν ταξιδεύεις με συγκεκριμένο budget.

Αν κάτι θα μας λείψει πραγματικά στο
Βιετνάμ είναι ο δυνατός βιετναμέζικος καφές, τα διάφορα βότανα που ήπιαμε και
το φρεσκότατο φαγητό που φάγαμε. Υπάρχουν πολλές επιλογές για φαγητό ενώ θα
βρεις και πολλά μαγαζιά αποκλειστικά για vegan ή vegetarian. Ακόμη,
θα πιείς δυνατό καφέ και σε πολλές εκδοχές που θα τον θυμάσαι για όλη σου τη
ζωή (Vietnamese black coffee, Egg Coffee, Coconut Coffee). Μην
παραλείψεις να γευτείς τα βότανα τους σε κάποιο από τα Tea Houses. Οι
Βιετναμέζοι στο τσάι δίνουν ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα καθώς αποτελεί στιγμή χαλάρωσης
αλλά και φάρμακο τους για πολλές παθήσεις.

(Τα πιο διαδεδομένα πιάτα είναι το Pho και το Banh Mi, μην φύγεις χωρίς να φας)

(Λόγω τοποθεσίας, σ'αυτή την πόλη θα έχεις
τη δυνατότητα να δοκιμάσεις τα πιο φρέσκα ψάρια και όστρακα απ'όλο το Βιετνάμ.
Αν σου αρέσουν αυτές οι γεύσεις, δεν έχεις παρά να δοκιμάσεις χωρίς δεύτερη
σκέψη).

Το Cao Lau Noodles, το White Rose και το Com Ga είναι τα τρία παραδοσιακά πιάτα της Hoi An.
Επίσης εδώ θα γευτείς το καλύτερο Banh Mi της χώρας στη Madam Khanh.

Η πόλη αυτή μας εξέπληξε με το φαγητό της.
Αν σε βγάλει ο δρόμος εδώ, σου προτείνουμε να πας στο Madam Thu restaurant και να δοκιμάσεις όλα τα
τοπικά πιάτα της πόλης. Αυτά είναι το Loc Cake, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Thit Nuong, Goi Cuon&nbsp; και Spring Rolls.

Είσαι στην πρωτεύουσα του Βιετνάμ. Γι
αυτό δεν πρέπει να παραλείψεις να δοκιμάσεις Bun Cha, Ban Mi, Pho, Spring Rolls και
φυσικά να γευτείς τον καλύτερο Egg Coffee σε
διάφορα μαγαζιά.

Ο Egg Coffee είναι
μία παραλλαγή του cappuccino που
πρωτοφτιάχτηκε στο Hanoi το 1946 από έναν barista που δούλευε σε γαλλικό
ξενοδοχείο. Ήταν μία εφεύρεση του, αφού δεν είχαν πρόσβαση σε γάλα λόγω του
πολέμου. Είναι μία πεντανόστιμη κρέμα που φτιάχνεται από κρόκο αυγού
αναμειγμένο με βραστό νερό και ζάχαρη στην οποία προσθέτουν βιετναμέζικο καφέ.
Πίνεται ζεστός ή κρύος και το αποτέλεσμα είναι μοναδικό. Πραγματικά θα χάσεις
αν δεν τον δοκιμάσεις.

Εκτός απ όλα τα παραπάνω
μαγαζιά για φαγητό, στο Βιετνάμ θα βρεις σε κάθε πόλη υπαίθριες αγορές με
προιόντα και τοπικά φαγητά. Όλα είναι πολύ φρέσκα και μαγειρεύονται μπροστά
σου. Αν σου αρέσουν οι streetfood δοκιμές, τοτέ σου το
προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα. Αν όχι, τότε η παραπάνω λίστα είναι μία πολύ safeεπιλογή. Εμείς, ως γνωστοί
λάτρεις του τοπικού φαγητού, δοκιμάσαμε και από τις αγορές, όχι τα πάντα, αλλά
πήραμε μία καλή γεύση

A trip to Vietnam requires good organization in
advance, in order to be able to see and try everything you have thought about

For our accommodation we chose both hotels and homestays,
with the 2nd ones to be very popular in Vietnam. The homestays are

fee (rent). They are very safe, clean and budget friendly, really useful choice
when you travel with pre-fixed budget.

that we will really miss from Vietnam is the strong Vietnamese coffee, the
different herbs that we drank and the freshly prepared food that we ate there.

definitely drink strong coffee in many different versions which you ‘ll
remember for your entire life (Vietnamese black

their tea as it is a moment of relaxation for them but also a medicine for a

Egg Coffee is a variation of cappuccino which was first made in Hanoi in 1946
from a barista that was employed in a French hotel. It was an invention of his,

Vietnamese coffee. You can drink it hot or cold and the result is absolutely
unique. Honestly, you’ll miss a lot out of it if you don’t try it.

aforementioned places for food, in Vietnam you’ll find open outdoor markets in
every city with products and local food. Everything is sold really fresh and is

στο Βιετνάμ; Η απάντηση είναι ξεκάθαρη και είναι ΝΑΙ.

Και
το ΝΑΙ θα συνοδεύουν όλες οι πληροφορίες που χρειάζεσαι όταν βρεθείς για πρώτη
φορά εκεί.

Βρίσκεται
ανάμεσα στις πιο ασφαλείς χώρες του κόσμου σύμφωνα με τη λίστα της dailystar. Κι αυτό μπορούμε να το επιβεβαιώσουμε αφού 16 ολόκληρες
μέρες που μείναμε εκεί δεν αισθανθήκαμε ούτε μια στιγμή φόβο ή κίνδυνο. Είναι
ένας λαός φιλόξενος, χαμογελαστός, ευγενικός και πρόθυμος να σε βοηθήσει
οποιαδήποτε στιγμή.

Η
Βιετναμέζικη κουζίνα είναι αρκετά υγιεινή και νόστιμη ενώ κυρίαρχα στοιχεία των
πιάτων είναι τα noodles, το ρύζι και τα λαχανικά - δεν υπάρχει πιάτο που να μην έχει κάτι από αυτά.

Είναι
η 2η χώρα σε παραγωγή καφέ(1η είναι η Βραζιλία) και
ρυζιού(1η είναι η Ινδία), ενώ παράγει το 75% του μάρου τσαγιού&nbsp; και το 50% των κάσιους παγκοσμίως.

Επιπλεόν,
υπάρχουν 54 εθνικές φυλές σε όλη τη χώρα με το 75% των ανθρώπων να είναι
Βουδιστές και το υπόλοιπο να είναι καθολικοί, ταοΐστές και άθεοι.

Όλα
καλά μέχρι στιγμής, αλλά δεν αρκούν για να μπεις στο αεροπλάνο και να
ταξιδέψεις σ αυτή την πανέμορφη χώρα.

Αρχικά,
αν ταξιδεύεις από την Ελλάδα απαιτείται η έκδοση
βίζας για την είσοδο σου στη χώρα ακόμη και για μία ημέρα. Η διαδικασία
έκδοσης είναι πολύ εύκολη και μπορείς να το κάνεις ηλεκτρονικά, γλιτώνοντας
έτσι χρόνο στα αεροδρόμια(μας τη ζήτησαν και στο Ελ. Βενιζέλος). Η διάρκεια
έκδοσης της είναι 3 εργάσιμες μέρες. Το κόστος είναι 25USD και έχει ισχύ για ένα μήνα από την ημέρα άφιξης στη
χώρα. Αν θέλεις να κάνεις την αίτηση γρήγορα και χωρίς έξτρα χρεώσεις πάτα στο

Ακόμη,
η ταξιδιωτική ασφάλεια υγείας είναι
προαπαιτούμενη για να ταξιδέψεις στο Βιετνάμ. Ελάχιστο πόσο κάλυψης είναι
10.000USD και
πρέπει να περιλαμβάνει την κάλυψη και για τον covid-19. Σ’αυτό το σημείο να μιλήσουμε και για το φαρμακείο ταξιδιού, όπως το αποκαλούμε
εμείς. Είναι σημαντικό να έχεις μαζί σου και κάποια φάρμακα μετά από συννενόηση
με το γιατρό σου τα οποία μπορεί να χρειαστούν είτε για κάτι απλό(πονοκέφαλος)
είτε για κάτι έκτακτο(διάρροια,εμετός). Στην περίπτωση του σοβαρού, το οποίο
ευχόμαστε να μη συμβεί ποτέ, η ταξιδιωτική ασφάλεια θα σου λύσει τα χέρια και
θα σε γλιτώσει από μεγάλη ταλαιπωρία.

Όσον
αφορά τον εμβολιασμό για την είσοδο
στη χώρα, δεν είναι απαραίτητο να έχεις κάνει κάποιο εμβόλιο. Συνιστώμενα
εμβόλια είναι αυτά που έχει κάνει ο καθένας μας τα πρώτα χρόνια της ζωής
του(τετάνου, ηπατίτιδας Α &amp; Β) ενώ για τον covid-19 δεν απαιτείται ούτε ο εμβολιασμός ούτε κάποιο τεστ

Πως
να φτάσεις στο Βιετνάμ. Δεν υπάρχουν
απευθείας πτήσεις από Ελλάδα για Βιετνάμ. Υπάρχουν όμως από Αθήνα για Βιετνάμ
μέσω Σιγκαπούρης με την εταιρία Scoot. Η πτήση διαρκεί 10-11 ώρες μέχρι τη Σιγκαπούρη και
άλλες 2-3 ώρες μέχρι το Βιετνάμ, ανάλογα με τον τελικό προορισμό. Η Scoot είναι μια θυγατρική
εταιρία της Singapore Airlines και εκτελεί πολλά
δρομολόγια από την Αθήνα προς τις ασιατικές χώρες σε πολύ οικονομικές τιμές.
Δεν προσφέρεται όμως τίποτα στην τιμή του απλού εισιτηρίου και θα χρειαστεί να
πληρώσεις ακόμη και για ένα μπουκαλάκι νερό σε μια 10ωρη πτήση. Είναι αξιόπιστη
εταιρία και πολύ οικονομική. Άλλες εταιρίες για να φτάσεις στο Βιετνάμ είναι η Turkish Airlines και η Emirates,όλες με ανταπόκριση, αν σου αρέσουν οι καλύτερες παροχές
και δεν σε νοιάζει η τελική τιμή του εισιτηρίου.

Το συνάλλαγμα και γενικότερα οι συναλλαγές στο Βιετνάμ είναι ακόμη ένα
θέμα που σίγουρα θα σε απασχολήσει. Η ισοτιμία είναι 1 ευρώ=25.000 vnd, και απ όσο μπορείς να καταλάβεις πρόκειται για μία χώρα
με μικρό κόστος ζωής. Είχαμε διαβάσει ότι μπορείς να χρησιμοποιείς σε πολλά
μέρη κάρτα για τις πληρωμές, αλλά με βεβαιότητα μπορούμε να πούμε ότι τα σημεία
είναι ελάχιστα. Σε όλο σχεδόν το Βιετνάμ χρησιμοποιούν μόνο μετρητά χρήματα,
οπότε φρόντισε να έχεις ευρώ μαζί σου γιατί θα χρειαστεί αρκετές φορές να
κανείς συνάλλαγμα. Τα σημεία συναλλάγματος είναι πολλά, ενώ υπάρχουν παντού και
τράπεζες για αναλήψεις χρημάτων με προμήθεια περίπου στα 2 ευρώ ανά ανάληψη,
ανεξαρτήτως ποσού.

Όσον
αφορά την επικοινωνία, οι Βιετναμέζοι το έχουν φροντίσει και αυτό.
Υπάρχουν κάρτες sim, τις οποίες μπορείς να αγοράσεις φτάνοντας στο αεοδρόμιο. Οι καλύτερες
είναι οι Viettel και η Vinaphone. Εμείς αγοράσαμε την Vinaphone και μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι
αφού, πληρώσαμε 12€ και το πακέτο περιελάμβανε 4GB/μέρα σε όλη τη χώρα με διάρκεια για ένα μήνα( η Viettel σε κάποιες πόλεις έδινε 1GB/μέρα). Το λες και τίμιο, γιατί δε μείναμε ούτε μία στιγμή
χωρίς σήμα.

Πέταγμα
Drone: Μπορείς να πάρεις νόμιμα το drone σου στη χώρα.
Διαβάσαμε όμως για περιπτώσεις που έφτασαν με διεθνή πτήση στο αεροδρόμιο της Ντα
Νάνγκ και αντιμετώπισαν διάφορα θέματα μέχρι και να το κατασχέσουν. Άλλοι
χρειάστηκε να πληρώσουν για να το πάρουν πίσω και άλλοι δεν το πήραν ποτέ. Για
αυτό φρόντισε να προσγειωθείς σε Ανόι ή Χο Τσι Μινχ ώστε να μην έχεις κανένα
απολύτως πρόβλημα. Για να πετάξεις νόμιμα το drone σου στη χώρα
χρειάζεται να λάβεις άδεια χρήσης σύμφωνα με τη νομοθεσία. Από όσα διαβάσαμε
όμως πριν το ταξίδι και από τη δική μας εμπειρία το μόνο που θα σου πούμε είναι
ότι δε θα χρειαστείς καμία άδεια και να το πετάξεις όπου επιτρέπεται (όχι κοντά
σε αεροδρόμια, στρατιωτικές βάσεις και όλα αυτά τα μέρη που γενικώς και όχι
μόνο στο Βιετνάμ απαγορεύεται).

Τέλος,
δεν πρέπει να παραλείψουμε να μιλήσουμε για τις μεταφορές και γενικότερα για τον προγραμματισμό των μετακινήσεων
στη χώρα. Είναι πολλοί αυτοί που προσποιούνται τους ταξιτζήδες, γι 'αυτό θέλει
ιδιαίτερη προσοχή στο μεταφορικό μέσο που θα επιλέξετε. Οι μόνες αξιόπιστες εταιρείες
που χρεώνουν ότι γράφει το ταξίμετρο είναι η mailinh και η vinasun. Γι 'αυτό μας ενημέρωσαν οι ιδιοκτήτες των καταλυμμάτων, οι οποίοι διαπιστώσαμε ότι κάνουν τα
πάντα. Θα σου κλείσουν μεταφορικό μέσο, θα σου προτείνουν μαγαζιά για φαγητό
και διασκέδαση και θα σου οργανώσουν οποιαδήποτε ημερήσια εκδρομή επιθυμείς να
κάνεις. Γενικά έχουν το ρόλο του ταξιδιωτικού γραφείου σε τιμές που πραγματικά
αξίζουν. Όλη αυτή η επικοινωνία απαιτεί χρόνο – μιλούσαμε μεσω what’s up, αλλά βρήκαμε πολλές δραστηριότητες και ημερήσιες εκδρομές σε
πραγματικά πολύ καλές τιμές!

Επίσης,
για τις μετακινήσεις σου από πόλη σε πόλη μπορείς να χρησιμοποιήσεις
αυτοκίνητο, τρένο ή αεροπλάνο. Το οδικό δίκτυο όμως και οι γραμμές των τρένων
δεν είναι αναπτυγμένα, οπότε απαιτείται πολύ περισσότερος χρόνος απ’ ότι
συνήθως. Προτίμησε τις εσωτερικές πτήσεις για να εξοικονομήσεις χρόνο σε τιμές
πραγματικά οικονομικές που ξεκινάνε από 20€ μέχρι και για κρατήσεις της
τελευταίας στιγμής. Η χώρα διαθέτει συνολικά 11 διεθνή αεροδρόμια με τα πιο
κύρια να είναι στις πόλεις Ανόι, Χο Τσι Μινχ και Ντα Νάνγκ και 12 αεροδρόμια
εσωτερικών πτήσεων.

Όλα τα παραπάνω θα σε
απαλλάξουν από το άγχος της οργάνωσης ενός ταξιδιού στο Βιετνάμ. Πολλοί
πανικοβάλλονται λόγω της γλώσσας, της απόστασης και γενικότερα της λάθος
αντίληψης που έχει ο κόσμος σήμερα για τη χώρα αυτή. Από την εμπειρία μας σε συμβουλεύουμε να μη διστάσεις
να κάνεις το ταξίδι αν το θέλεις πραγματικά. Ψάξε όσα χρειάζεται και οργανώσου

Travelling
to Vietnam? The answer is clear and it’s YES.

And
by saying YES, it means that we will provide you with all the information you
will need when you find yourself for the first time there.

It
is listed amongst the safest countries in the world according to the Dailystar
list. We can very well confirm this, as we felt no fear or danger during our 16
days stay there. People in Vietnam are hospitable, smiley, polite and eager to
help you at any moment.

The
Vietnamese cuisine is quite healthy and tasteful, while the primary components
of the dishes are noodles, rice and vegetables – there is no plate that wouldn’t
include one of these.

It
is placed 2nd worldwide in coffee production (1st place
belongs to Brazil) and rice production (1st place belongs to India),
while produces 75% of black tea and 50% of cashew nuts worldwide.

Furthermore,
there are 54 national tribes in the whole country, 75% of them are Buddhists
and the rest of them are either Catholics, Taoists or atheists.

So
far so good, but the aforementioned info are not enough to get you in the plane
and travel to this beautiful country.

First
of all, if you’re travelling from Greece the issuance of a visa is
required for you to be able to enter the country even for a single day. The
issuance procedure is very easy and you can apply for it electronically
(through web), saving a lot of time at the airport (visa was requested by the
authorities/airline personnel at Eleftherios Venizelos, ATH airport as well).After
the application for the issuance, visa was ready within 3 working days. The
cost comes to 25 USD and is valid for 1 month after your arrival (first day) at

Moreover,
travel health insurance is a prerequisite in order to travel to Vietnam.
Minimum covered wage is 10.000 USD and must also include the cover of expenses
related to COVID-19. At this moment, we should also refer to the first-aid
(mini pharmacy) kit of travelling, as we ‘re used to call it. It is important
to pack some medicines with you, always in communication with your doctor,
which may be proven useful either for facing simple discomforts (like a
headache) or an emergency occurrence (like vomit or diarrhea). In case of a
more important occurrence, which we really hope that nobody experiences, your
travel insurance will definitely “free” your hands and will save you from
serious trouble.

In
regard to the vaccination in order to enter the country, it is not
necessary to be vaccinated with any vaccine in particular. Vaccines that
everybody has received during the first years of life (Hepatitis A &amp; B,
tetanus) are recommended, while COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory or any
other test to be taken in order to enter the country. Detailed information can

How to get to Vietnam. There are no direct flights from Greece to Vietnam.
However, there are flights from Athens to Vietnam via Singapore performed by
Scoot airlines. The flight lasts about 10-11 hours until Singapore and another
2-3 hours until you arrive to Vietnam, depending on your final destination.
Scoot airlines is an affiliated company of Singapore airlines and runs many
itineraries from Athens to Asiatic countries in very affordable prices. There
is nothing included in the price of a normal ticket and you ‘ll have to pay
even for a small bottle of water during a 10-hours flight. It is a reliable and
very affordable airline. Other airlines to get to Vietnam are the Turkish
airlines and Emirates, all of them with an intermediate flight, if you prefer
better service and you don’t care about the final ticket price.

The
foreign currency and the transactions in Vietnam, in general, is
an issue that will require your attention for sure during your trip. The
exchange value is set up to 1 euro = 25.000 vnd, and as far as you can understand
it is a country with low living cost. Before our trip, we had already read that
you may use your credit/debit card for your payments, but we can reassure you
that there are very few spots to do that. Almost in every place in Vietnam they
use cash, so take care of it and be aware of having some euros in cash with you
as you will need to exchange currency multiple times. There are many currency
spots to exchange money, banks are also present in various places where you can
withdraw cash with a cost of 2 euros per transaction, whatever the amount of
money might be.

In
regard to telecommunication, Vietnamese people have taken care of this
as well. There are sim cards which you can buy after your arrival at the
airport. The best ones are Viettel and Vinaphone. We bought Vinaphone and we
were really satisfied with the services as we paid 12 euros and the package
included 4GB internet access per day for the whole country, being valid for 1
month (Viettel was offering 1GB/day in some cities). Quite an honest offer, if
you take into consideration that there was not a single day that we didn’t have
good signal.

Flying
a Drone: You can legally
take your drone in the country. However,
we read about different situations that people arrived with an international
flight at the airport of Da
Nang and faced various issues, even having
their drone foreclosed. Some
others had to pay to take it back and others didn’t manage to take their drone
back. For this reason, be aware and land at Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh to not face
any issues. In order for you to fly your drone legally in the country you have
to ask for specific permission according to regulations. Nevertheless, as far
as we read before our trip but also from our experience, we can tell you that
you will not need any permission to fly it wherever it is permitted to do it
(not close to airport, military bases and all these places that - not only in
Vietnam – in general, is forbidden).

Last
but not least, we should not miss to refer to the transportations and
generally to the plan of transportation around the country during the trip.
There are a lot of people that pretend to be taxi drivers, that’s why it
requires your ultimate attention when it comes to the selection of
transportation. The most trustworthy companies are mailinh and vinasun, which
they will charge you no more of what the taxi meter indicates. For this issue,
we were informed by the owners of the accommodations, who – as we
realized –they will do everything to meet your needs. They will book the
transportation for you, they will recommend you food and amusement places and
they will organize whatever daytrip you wish to experience. We would generally
say that they act as a travel agency with a cost that comes to the value of
their service. It requires a lot of time to arrange this communication – we
were chatting through WhatsApp, but we finally found numerous activities and
daytrips in really good prices!

Moreover,
for your transportations from town to town you can use a car, go by
train or plane. However, the road network as well as the train lines are not
developed, that’s why much more time it is required than usually. Prefer the
internal flights to save time in really low prices that start from 20€ even for
last minute bookings. In total, the country acquires 11 international airports
with the main ones being in the cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang and 12
airports of domestic flights.

aforementioned will release you from the stress in regard to the
organization of a trip to Vietnam. There are many who panic because of the
language, the travel distance and generally, the wrong impression that people
have for this country. Talking based on our experience, we advise you to not
hesitate to have this trip if you really want it. Search as many things as
needed and organize yourself early enough, prepare your suitcases and go. It is
for sure that you’ll have a fantastic time!
